check your universal jack on the 360. It has a normal tv and HDTV switch. You may of bumped it, I have done it in the past.

when you say next CHRISTmas, I'm not sure which one you mean but I think the most logical price drop time would be 2 months after this Christmas, so like 5 months. PS3 shortages would start to drop a little and it would finally be considered a competing product, along with the wii.
